There is a neighborhood in SE Des Moines that we recently received a dozen calls from about wasps. It seemed that every house in the neighbor hood had multiple wasps nests around their homes. Wasps were building nests in their eves, by their front doors, under their decks, and even by their swing sets. Luckily we headed down to the neighborhood and helped many of the residents elminate those wasps.
Wasps can be very aggressive when they feel threatened. This causes problems when wasps build nests around your home. It is important to remove wasp nests as soon as possible to reduce the chance of being stung.
During the day wasps are generally active and away from their nest. The best time to all the wasps is to eliminate the nest in the evening after all the wasps have returned home.
